The former residential care home underwent reconfiguration and part refurbishment under a design & build contract to create 28 dwellings for residents over 50. The site received three new staircases, disabled access lifts and perimeter balcony walkways to join up access to the four blocks. The high specification finish within the properties has been designed for a ‘gold’ affordable rent tenure. It consists of 1 and 2-bedroom apartments, some with wet room facilities and wheelchair access.
