The former residential care home underwent reconfiguration and partial refurbishment under a design and build contract to create 32 dwellings for the elderly over 50.

The site received three new staircases, disabled access lifts and perimeter balcony walkways to join up access to the four blocks. The high-spec properties have been designed for affordable rent tenure and consist of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, some of which have wet room facilities and wheelchair access. The landscaped gardens, complete with planters, helped to create a real community feel in the shared space.
